Hi Mrs. Duncan,

It's so great you are doing this again! Is there any way my brother and I can help out?

Thank you!

YES YES YES! I really want and need your help. I have the teacher contacts for Rancho, and you can work with them on campus. Roger Royster is organizing the efforts at RBV. We are trying to get the groups on campus to join together and set goals for doantions.

Please give me a call so I can get you a folder and copies of the flyers and dvd. I will be at school tomorrow if you want to stop by- I'll be in PAC.

Love you Sweetie. xoxo Mrs. D.

PS Tell Nikhil I cannot WAIT to see him! I miss you guys so much!

Hi Mrs. Duncan,

My brother and I cannot wait to start helping out. Since this week is finals week, we probably have to wait for the week after to start spreading the word. I can discuss it with Nikhil, but we could probably start raising funds in one of the clubs we're in.

Out of curiosity, what are the wishes, and how much money are you trying to raise for them?

Thank you!

Gitanjali,

Ashleigh wants to go to Disneyland and meet all of the Disney princesses. Curt isn't sure yet... it's a big decision for a 4 year old!

I have decided not to put an amount on our efforts. I am hoping it's so big and so overwhelming... it covers multiple wishes. I can fill you in on specific details next week [after your finals...good luck!]

Getting involved where you are connected is key. Our goal for the high schools is to work in groups, along with asking family connections to contribute. I know the IB program require community service hours... and this is the perfect opportunity! ;-) I would like every IB student to participate and contribute.

Ideas for you and Nikhil: What about your church? Or maybe Mom and Dad have business or community connections that you can contact. This collection crosses all boundaries...everyone is invited and encouraged to particiapte and make a difference.

I will look forward to your email next week. Be ready to work for those sweet little kids. I can't wait to do this together.

xoxo

Mrs D. I checked out the updated video and it looks great. Even the kooky guy at the end seems to bring some clarity to the entire event. I had a great conversation today with three students from RBV who are leaders for Rancho Christian Fellowship. They are planning a Big Give Benefit Concert where they will invite a bunch of bands come play, sell tickets with all procedes going to the Big Give. More details to come. They are working on NCC as the venue Feb 8th. They will contact Vista's Christian CLub as and FCA and will do their usual thing to contact folks to come be a part of the event. Also, our ASB president will present to the RBV staff tomorrow Friday and encourage them to get involved. I have still not seen those two gals from the meeting. According to Taylor Niel, one of them has spoken to the cheer leaders, but that is all I have heard. Let them know if they need help or a contact person, I am in room 327. I will connect with you next week. Grades are due on Tuesday. Whew!!!
